Mikey February’s Bonzer 5 in Stab EAST

Stab has released Episode 1 one of this year’s Electric Acid Surfboard Test (EAST) featuring Mikey February. Mikey was kind enough to include us in the lineup of boards he chose for the project. Earlier in the year he came by the Bonzer compound in Oxnard to shoot the breeze and go over the shape. He has extensive history riding the Russ Short model as well as other B3 vehicles, so for this new one MC opted on making him his first 5 fin Bonzer.

Coming in at 6’4 x 19 1/8” x 2 1/2”, this board is based off the Wi-5 model developed by Taylor Knox.

Above is an excerpt clip from Episode 1, it features Mikey having a go on the board in some somewhat unruly Angourie. A serendipitous location however, as this was where Taylor rode the original 6’4 Shelter board. Call it kismet!
